Weekend Programs – All Year

Junior Worldbuilders ages 8-15

In the kids group at TTLMakerspace students learn both technical and traditional skills through an ongoing series of projects they build with the instructor.
The focus in the Junior Worldbuilders is hands-on learning and fun!

2026 Summer Camps for Kids and Youth

RaceCamp – Jul 6-10

For a whole week we will study, design and build remote controlled race cars so we can race them against each other. With a heavy emphasis on safety, we will empower kids with the confidence and skills needed to use tools and equipment in a community makerspace.
Participants will work in teams to design and build a working remote controlled race cars. We will Experiment with gears and aerodynamics . We will end the week with a series of races that parents are encouraged to spectate.

Cosplay Camp – Jul 13-17


We will begin the week with a study of design before dividing in to two or more teams both deciding what kind of theme they want to cosplay. We will design our cosplay, create it as well as personalise it.

We will learn to design and build a cosplay incorporating sewing, Leatherworking, Woodworking,3d printing, laser cutting and electronics.

Community Builders – Jul. 20-24

Birds, Bats and Bees play an essential role in maintaining healthy and resilient ecosystems – they help to pollinate plants, disperse seeds and control insects. When animal populations are thriving, communities also benefit. By studying and protecting them, we can understand the overall health of our ecosystems and the environment.

The Community Builders kids camp provides a fun, active, hands-on experience that builds confidence with tools while encouraging discussion about sustainability and nature.

Music Makers – Aug 3-7

For a whole week we will study, design and build various types of musical instruments.

Every day we will select a type of musical instrument. We will learn its history and construction methods before designing and building one of our own. We will end the week with a Jam Session that parents are encouraged to spectate.

DangerCamp – Aug. 10-14

Things that pop, sparkle, and spray! Dangercamp gets kids thinking about safety! Through a series of projects that simulate dangerous situations, kids use their creativity to come up with solutions. With close supervision, kids will use various tools and technology including Laser Cutters, 3d Printers, and Electronics.

Battlebots Camp – Aug. 17-21

For a whole week we will work in teams to design and build a working remote controlled robot. We will add various kinetic weapons. The end of the week will feature epic battles that parents might not want to miss.
We will learn the basics of electronics and robotics using soldering Irons, laser cuttters and 3d printers
